About Kragsbjerggaard
For centuries, Kragsbjerggaard has stood proudly and beautifully here in Odense. The grand manor has experienced much throughout its lifetime, but despite multiple reconstructions and renovations, you can still see traces from the first families who settled here.
Now, our family has taken the reins of the place and carries on the tradition. We are immensely proud to become a part of the history of this remarkable location.
Where the place was once used for aristocratic agriculture, today it serves as a hostel and hotel, welcoming people from all walks of life to an idyllic respite in the heart of Odense. Both Morten Korch and H.C. Andersen have been guests on the estate.
The hostel is now operated with our own family values, which permeate the entire business.
The manor is an ideal accommodation for school trips. We offer many activities such as table tennis, air hockey, pool, foosball, giant chess, and more, along with the opportunity to make use of the extensive green areas. Furthermore, Kragsbjerggaard is just 2 km from Odense's historic center, close to the highway, and with easy access to all major attractions in Odense and on Funen.
The manor has been renovated with respect for its style and history, and the newly built hotel rooms are elegant and nearly regal, nestled at the edge of the forest in the old main house.
